2018 Annual Conference Call for Breakout Session Presentations

The Planning Committee is seeking recommendations for the conference break-out sessions and we want to hear from YOU!  Come share your successes, lessons learned, and challenges at the 2018 TASSCC Annual Conference.  The Conference will be held in The Woodlands, Texas at the Marriott Waterway Hotel and Convention Center, August 5-8, 2018.

This year, TASSCC has selected a conference theme in keeping with our location: Camp TASSCC 2018: Exploring the IT Wilderness.  There will be four breakout session tracks. We hope you’ll considering sharing your experience and expertise to help make this year’s breakout sessions the best yet!   

The Session Tracks are:

  • Cloud Services
  • Security and Risk Management
  • Data Management and Analytics
  • IT Staffing and Organizational Models

Each session will be 50 minutes: 40 minutes of prepared presentation, and 10 minutes for questions. You may present individually, or as a group.  We encourage vendors to partner with a state agency or higher education institution for presentations.  

The Session Tracks are shown below.  We’ve included suggested topics, but welcome additional subjects within the session tracks! Submissions will be accepted until May 11,  2018
