Experienced public sector IT professionals consider the TASSCC Annual Conference to be one of the best and most affordable opportunities for learning and sharing in Texas. Because the conference focuses on the unique opportunities and problems that we face in delivering services to citizens, this event has earned a loyal following of participants. Comments from prior attendees:
The conference provides two and a half days of top quality education for minimal cost, and the networking opportunities are priceless! As an Information Resource Manager, you can also obtain the majority of your required continuing education credits by attending the conference. The conference, held at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, will begin with a 6:00 P.M. reception on Sunday evening, August 10, 2008, and will conclude at noon on Wednesday, August 13, 2008. "Adventure on the High Seas - Charting the Course!" is the theme of this year's conference. We have an outstanding agenda filled with excellent speakers, many of whom will provide you with the tools and insight on how to successfully navigate your way through some of today's pressing information technology topics including security, generational learning and social networking.
