Excellence Awards

The TASSCC Excellence Award for the Innovative Use of Technology recognizes projects or applications that apply computing and/or communications technologies in an innovative way.  Nominated projects must significantly improve internal operations, customer service, or communication between agencies/academic institutions.  Nominated projects must be fully implemented and delivering the services described.

Selection Criteria
  • Significantly improved services or operations
  • Innovative application of technology
  • Collaboration with other agencies/academic institutions
  • Quality improvement and/or cost savings

Selection Procedure
Nominees must be submitted by June 6, 2008 to be considered for the award. The TASSCC Board will select the award winners by June 30, 2008. Awards will be presented at the Annual Conference August 12, 2008.
