David Cook is the Director of Applications in Information Technology Services at the University of Texas at Austin.  The Applications group develops, evaluates and provides tools and infrastructure for information systems, including identity management, enterprise workflow, e-communications, Web infrastructure and contract services.  Previously, David managed the University's Web Technologies Team and directed technical training for campus staff.

David has a Master's Degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and has worked in IT at the University of Texas at Austin for 20 years. He is also a lecturer in the College of Communication where he teaches a course on Digital Metrics in the Department of Advertising.
