Biography

Hope Morgan is the current IRM and IT Director for the HHSC Information Technology division. The HHSC IT division is responsible for the internal agency operations of HHSC and includes applications development, regional IT support, IT operations, HIPAA and Medicaid contractor oversight, and strategic planning and budget. She joined the Commission in October 2003 bringing with her over 20 years of experience in the information technology field. Hope has worked at several state agencies including the Railroad Commission of Texas, the Texas Department of Insurance and the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.

Hope has served on several community and technical organizations. She is also a board member of Conspirare, a local organization supporting the vocal arts.
